Ca' del Bosco Rosé Extra Brut “Cuvée Prestige” 46th edition

 115

Ca' del Bosco Rosé Cuvée Prestige 46th Edition is an exemplary Franciacorta Rosé that celebrates the art of winemaking with a meticulous blend of Pinot Noir (80%) and Chardonnay (20%). This wine comes from 18 certified organic vineyards, located in the municipalities of Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Iseo and Passirano, some of which were planted about 33 years ago for Pinot Noir and 28 for Chardonnay.

The Cuvée Prestige Rosé Edizione 46 has significant historical roots, having been introduced for the first time in 1976 under the name of Rosé Ca' del Bosco. In 2005, it adopted its current name and since 2018 it has been part of the “Edizione” family of wines, which allows to highlight the unique nuances of each harvest.

The winemaking process for this Franciacorta is exemplary, with a short maceration of the Pinot Noir grapes to obtain a delicate pink color and a separate fermentation for the varieties, followed by an aging on the lees for about 30 months at a constant temperature of 12°C. This care in production is reflected in the distinctive taste of the wine, which presents a perfect balance of acidity and freshness, with an extra brut dosage of only 0.5 grams of sugar per liter.

This wine is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also an example of sustainability and respect for the environment, thanks to organic viticulture practices and attention to the selection and treatment of the grapes.
