Monsupello Classic Method Brut Rosé

 58

Monsupello Brut Rosè, a classic method sparkling wine produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, stands out for its medium-intensity salmon pink color and a fine and very persistent perlage. This wine presents itself to the nose as medium-evolved, fruity, fine and elegant, with distinctive notes of bread crust, ripe apple and dog rose. On the palate, it is dry with a pleasant freshness that gives it good persistence and structure.

The vinification begins with a cold maceration in an inert environment to enhance the color and aromas from the skins, followed by a soft pressing. The fermentation of the free-run must takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C, after which the wine is refined, stabilized and filtered before bottling with the liqueur de tirage for the second fermentation in the bottle.

In addition to receiving the Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso's Guida Vini d'Italia in 2010, this sparkling wine has continued to receive awards that confirm its high quality, maintaining a level of excellence over time thanks to the sustainable viticulture practices adopted by the winery. These elements demonstrate Monsupello's ongoing commitment to producing high-quality sparkling wines, making it an example of excellence in the Oltrepò Pavese region.
