Yaoshin Shuzo Gangi Junmai Daiginjo Sekirei
€ 160
The “Gangi” Junmai Daiginjo “Sekirei” sake represents one of the most prestigious labels of the Yaoshin Shuzo distillery in Yamaguchi prefecture. “Gangi” (雁木), meaning wharf, refers to the old docking area in front of the distillery, once used to transport sake by river, while “Sekirei” (鶺鴒) refers to the migratory bird, known for its elegant flight above the water surfaces, thus reflecting the grace and purity of sake.
This refined Junmai Daiginjo offers an elegant bouquet, followed by a clear and persistent aftertaste, demonstrating the art of sake tradition combined with advanced methods.
Yamada Nishiki rice is considered the best for sake production.
Ideal for both sake experts and novices, “Gangi” Junmai Daiginjo “Sekirei” stands out for its elegance and accessibility.
