Colterenzio LR 2017

The Colterenzio LR 2017 is an exclusive cuvée of white wines, which perfectly embodies the art of high-level winemaking in Alto Adige. This wine is a tribute to Luis Raifer, the pioneer and inspirer behind many of Colterenzio's innovative wines. The LR is mainly composed of Chardonnay, with additions of Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, selected from the best vineyards of the winery, located at an altitude of approximately 400-550 meters above sea level.

The vinification of LR 2017 follows a meticulous process: after delicate pressing of the grapes, the must ferments and matures in oak barrels, followed by further refinement in the bottle for 12 months. This method not only gives the wine a complex and rich structure, but also an elegant integration of the wood aromas with the freshness of the fruits.

Visually, the wine presents itself with an intense golden color. On the nose it offers a complex bouquet of fruity and floral aromas, with notes of vanilla and subtle toasting, thanks to the aging in wood. On the palate, Colterenzio's LR 2017 reveals great intensity and persistence, with an extraordinary harmony between refreshing acidity and rich body. These characteristics make LR a perfect choice to accompany dishes rich in fish, seafood and mature cheeses.
