Gaja Chardonnay “Rossj Bass” 2021

The Gaja Chardonnay “Rossj Bass” 2021 is a DOC white wine from the Langhe that reflects the excellence and philosophy of the famous producer Angelo Gaja. It comes from vineyards planted in the early 1980s, in particular from the Rossj vineyard, named in honor of Angelo Gaja's daughter, Rossana. This Chardonnay is famous for its rich and complex aromatic profile, which ranges from notes of pear and white flowers to nuances of vanilla and caramel.

The vinification of "Rossj Bass" 2021 takes place in barrique, where the wine matures for seven months, acquiring a creamy texture and a notable density which is expressed in a full and persistently aromatic palate. The grapes come from various vineyards located in the areas of Barbaresco and Serralunga, with the first year of production dated 1988.

The wine displays a remarkable balance between vibrant acidity and aromatic richness, making it ideal to enjoy now or age for a few years.
