Lis Neris Chardonnay “Jurosa” 2020

The Chardonnay “Jurosa” 2020 by Lis Neris is a white wine of great expression and refinement, produced in the Isonzo Valley, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. This wine is vinified exclusively with Chardonnay grapes selected from the winery's historic vineyards, giving it remarkable purity and aromatic intensity.

The vinification takes place in 500 liter French oak tonneaux, where the wine matures for almost a year. This refinement method is chosen to amplify the aromatic amplitude of Chardonnay without overpowering its natural elegance. The result is a wine that combines the typical freshness of Chardonnay with a complexity given by the aging in wood, offering an aromatic range that includes notes of chamomile, green tea and vanilla, integrated with fresh and fruity aromatic notes.

Visually, “Jurosa” has a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe fruit and white flowers emerge, enriched by mineral nuances and a light toasting. On the palate, the wine is well balanced, with a fresh acidity that combines harmoniously with a rich structure and a persistent, elegant finish.

Perfect to enjoy with sophisticated fish dishes, seafood or as an aperitif, “Jurosa” Chardonnay is also a wine that has the potential to age gracefully, developing further complexity over time.
