Arnoux Père et fils Beaune 1er cru “Les Teurons” 2022

 160

The Beaune 1er Cru “Les Teurons” 2022 by Arnoux Père et Fils is a refined example of Burgundy wine. Coming from an area of 0.48 hectares, this wine is made entirely with Chardonnay grapes grown at an altitude of 225 meters, in soils rich in limestone and clay, with direct exposure to the east. The grape harvest is manual and the winemaking includes a cold pre-fermentative maceration, followed by alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maturation for 12 months in barrels, of which approximately 20% are new.

Visually, the wine has a golden hue with green highlights. The bouquet is generous and intense, with aromas of dried fruit and white flowers, enriched by notes of toasted almonds and honey, as well as a buttery touch deriving from the maturation period in barrels. On the palate, it is recommended to taste it young to appreciate the freshness and liveliness of the fruit or to wait for it to ripen to enjoy its rich and sweet qualities.

Ideal for keeping between 3 and 10 years, this wine pairs beautifully with dishes such as quiches, grilled fish, poultry or veal in a creamy sauce, as well as cheeses such as Cîteaux, Comté or goat's cheese.
