La Raia Gavi Riserva Vigna Madonnina 2020

The Gavi DOCG Riserva Vigna Madonnina 2020 by La Raia is a biodynamic Piedmontese white wine that magnificently represents the tradition of its territory. The Cortese grapes used come from the Madonnina vineyard, located in an optimal position which guarantees perfect maturation thanks to ideal thermal ventilation and microclimate. The grapes are selected and harvested manually at the end of September, guaranteeing a high quality of the must. The winemaking process follows natural methods, without the addition of oenological additives, and involves six months' refinement in stainless steel followed by a further six months in the bottle before marketing.

Organoleptic characteristics of this wine include a straw yellow color, a delicate and floral aroma, typical of the Gavi area, and a rich, dry and harmonious taste. It is perfect for pairing with fish-based dishes, in particular shellfish, light risottos and fresh or semi-soft cheeses.
