Tohoku Meijo Hatsumago Densho
€ 60
Hatsumago Densho is a sake produced in Yamagata Prefecture by Tohoku Meijo. It is distinguished by the use of the traditional "Kimoto" brewing method, which gives it a unique aromatic and flavor profile.
This sake was awarded the prestigious “Honjozo Trophy” at the International Wine Challenge in 2018. It is an extremely versatile product that can be served both cold and hot (ideal between 20°C and 50°C).
Hatsumago Densho has a rounded, full-bodied, and well-balanced flavor, with a slight acidity that makes it drier than Junmai. It is characterized by expressive aromas and a rich umami flavor. When served warm, the almond and cream notes become more pronounced.
It is ideal to accompany dishes such as yakitori, grilled meats, stews and soft cheeses.
