Baron de Ladoucette Baron de “L” Pouilly Fumè 2020

The Baron de “L” Pouilly-Fumé 2020, produced by Ladoucette, is an excellent Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley, France. This wine is known for being produced only in the best vintages and from the first pressings of the domaine's grapes. The elaboration of the wine includes a careful selection of the grapes from the different blocks of the vineyard, which are harvested by hand, pressed and vinified separately. Subsequently, the wine matures on natural yeasts for a period ranging from three to six months before being assembled. Finally, it rests in glass tanks for another eight to ten months before bottling.

The color of the Baron de “L” 2020 is pale gold with green shades. On the nose, it is delicate and complex, with hints of ripe fruit such as pear and white peach, accompanied by notes of wax, vanilla and flint. The palate is fresh and round at the beginning, then fleshy and robust, with a good structure and a perfect balance between fruity roundness and mineral firmness, closing with a very long finish.

This wine is the result of a production that respects the historicity and excellence of the Pouilly-Fumé vineyards, managed by the Comte Lafond and Ladoucette family since 1787, guaranteeing a high-level tasting experience.
