Special Cuvée
€ 165
The Bollinger Special Cuvée is an emblematic Champagne that exemplifies the rich and sophisticated style of the Maison Bollinger. Composed of a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier, this Champagne is known for its aromatic depth and complexity, the result of a winemaking that includes over 85% grapes from Grand and Premier Crus vineyards.
The Bollinger Special Cuvée matures in the cellar for a period that is double that required by the rules of the appellation, giving the wine an exceptional structure and rich flavors. The moderate dosage, between 7 and 8 grams per litre, ensures a perfect balance between freshness and aromatic richness.
Visually, it presents an intense golden color and a fine and persistent mousse. On the nose, it offers an intense olfactory profile with notes of toasted bread, crunchy apple and pear, together with nuances of brioche and hazelnut that persist in a long and delicious finish. On the palate, the Special Cuvée is robust and lively, with a complex structure that is balanced with impeccable freshness.
This Champagne is ideal as an aperitif or can perfectly accompany any moment of the meal, from fish-based appetizers to white meat dishes or a selection of cheeses. Its versatility and rich aromatic expression make it an excellent choice for special occasions or to add a touch of elegance to any celebration.
