Bestheim Riesling Grand Cru “Sclosseberg” 2021

The Bestheim Riesling Grand Cru “Schlossberg” 2021 represents an exceptional expression of the Riesling grape variety grown in Alsace, France. Coming from the famous Grand Cru Schlossberg vineyard, this wine stands out for its extraordinary synergy between the grape variety and the terroir. The Schlossberg soils, located on the sub-Voscian hillsides between 200 and 400 meters above sea level and excellently exposed, benefit from intense solar radiation and an extraordinary richness of soils.

The wine has a bright yellow color and offers an aromatic complexity to the nose that ranges from fresh citrus aromas, such as grapefruit and lemon, to hints of ginger and crushed stone. On the palate, it is dry and salty, with a slight bitterness in the long finish, characteristics that reflect the power and complexity conferred by its exceptional terroir.
