The Colterenzio Lafóa Chardonnay 2022 is an exemplary expression of Chardonnay, grown in the fertile valleys of Alto Adige, a region renowned for the production of high-quality white wines. This wine is the result of a production philosophy that aims at the maximum expression of the varietal and terroir.

The grapes for Lafóa Chardonnay are carefully selected and come from the best Colterenzio vineyards, located at an ideal altitude which guarantees optimal maturation. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by aging on the fine lees for approximately 10 months, which gives the wine structure and complexity, enriching the aromatic profile with notes of vanilla and butter.

At sight, the Lafóa Chardonnay 2022 has an intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with aromas of melon, creamy fruit salad and a background of nutty aromas. The mouth is well balanced, with a notable freshness that integrates perfectly with a soft and creamy structure, leaving a long and pleasantly fruity persistence.

This wine is an excellent accompaniment to elaborate fish dishes, shellfish, and can be splendid with soft cheeses or poultry dishes. Also perfect as an aperitif.
