Marchese Antinori Contessa Maggi Riserva 2016 is an excellent Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wine, produced with selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. This wine, representative of the historic Tenuta Montenisa, expresses a distinctive elegance and refinement, being the result of meticulous processing and refinement .

Winemaking begins with gentle pressing of whole hand-picked grapes, followed by initial fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle the following spring, allowing the wine to mature in contact with the yeasts for an extended period, which contributes to its complexity and structure.

When tasted, Contessa Maggi shows a bright yellow color with a creamy foam and a fine and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is intense and refined, with notes of white pulp fruit that give elegance and a harmonious balance, typical of the best Franciacorta.
